Wedding Wednesday: Historic Shady Lane, First Class Vintage | Wedding Photographer York, Pa

I love when my future brides (and grooms!) ask me to join them on a little trip to their wedding venue.  It is a great way for me to hang out with them before the wedding and scope out some seriously awesome locations.

Recently, I visited Erica & Joe's wedding venue and as promised- it delivered!

We had a great time, scoping out little nooks and crannies to shoot some gorgeous images, planning our fun adventure and hearing their visions on one of the most important days of their lives.

Here are a few little shots from our visit- be sure to leave some love- Erica is especially gorgeous, sitting in the cottage where she will dress for the big day!

 No visit is complete without a little ring action- Historic Shady Lane just happens to have the perfect little sundial!  Don't you all think that Joe did an incredible job designing this ring?  He met with a jeweler in Dallas, gave his vision and the jeweler worked his artistic magic.  I love, love, love its vintage, artistic feel!

 If you love vintage, historical locations- this is one of the most beautiful venues in Central Pa.  Just look at the inside of the greenhouse!  Can you imagine the wedding gorgeousness that will ensue??

 Plus, they have a complete cottage (it's huge!) for the ladies to relax and dress in- check out Erica relaxing in the Bridal suite!  I can't wait to shoot this same shot in her wedding dress- gorgeous won't even describe it!

With little details like this (found in the cottage), you know Historic Shady Lane is going to take care of you, in ever sense of the word!

Custom USB | Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

I am so excited to finally be able to share these with you all!  This blog post has been a.long.time. in the making.  Try since last year!  Yes, I am not kidding.  It has literally been that long.

I went through several different USB companies, but I really didn't feel like the drives were me, you know?  They were mass manufactured and only orderable in bulk orders.  Nothing wrong with that, but you all know me.  I want custom, unique, individual to each of my dear clients.  That is, after all, why I am a boutique photographer!  :)  I was just about to give up my search, when I got an email from my professional print lab- Miller's.  They are just fabulous!  Well, guess what that email contained!  Yep, you guessed it.  New.  Custom.  USBs.

The answer to all of my prayers.  A completely customizable USB drive and box that screamed:  "ME!"  SWOON!

 The boxes are natural and crafted with the utmost attention to detail! I love, love, love them!  The wood is so crisp and clean- it is perfect to guard all of your precious memories!

The USB is a 16GB wooden with luxe turned edges and a magnetic attaching cap.  Each set will come completely customized for your event and is also available in an 8GB.  I double love, love, love these USBs!!

Sneak Peek:: Beki + Michael | Wedding Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

So, I have been working on the images from Beki & Michael's wedding, and I just keep coming across these uber romantic, dreamy pictures.  These two have a way with the spur-of-the-moment intimate moments!  I just love how Michael pulls her in for the smooch!  :)

Personalized Details | Wedding Photographer Harrisburg, PA

I love when I am able to share not only in a couple's big day, but in the details, and really get to know a bride and groom- and what makes them tick!  This next image I came across while I was editing and I was tearing up as I processed it.  This couple- Beki and Michael- have been together over 10 years!  They had a last minute wedding venue change and I could just feel that even though all of the chaos of the last minute wedding plans changing and swirling around them, love radiated from Beki and Michael.  They were marrying their best friend!

Beki wanted to honor her loved ones that had passed, and she came up with a really special way of doing it!  She had each of their names hand-stitched onto a piece of cloth (in blue- gotta have something blue, right??) and pinned it to the underside of her dress!

This image really took my breath away, as there is so much passion, emotion, and love behind the gesture.

I was very blessed to be able to experience such a unique and touching moment during Beki and Michael's wedding.

Here is a little sneak peek, of last weekend's wedding with Beki and Michael, that I am currently working on!!

I almost fainted when I saw the dreamy light reflection of the stain-glass window!!  A photographer's dream, I do believe.  Beki looks so regal and radiant in this shot- I. Love. It.
