Arlowe Turns 1! | Bella Vita Photography Hershey, Pa & West Shore Baby Photographer

Wow.

I cannot believe this little guy is 1.  Seriously.

It feels like just a couple months ago we were traveling to the hospital to welcome him into the world. 

Folks say that time flies when you are having fun. Well, as much fun as we have had with Isabella and Arlowe, I'd have to say that little phrase is true.

In the midst of my busiest season to date, this handsome little guy is turning one.  Talk about being pulled in a million different directions!  I was planning some great locations for sessions and planning away on his hot air balloon-themed first birthday party...but what I wasn't planning was HIS PICTURES!  Yes, you read it right.

Everyone is always commenting, "You're a photographer, your kids must have the BEST pictures ever!"

Well, no...not exactly.  :)

I sometimes find it harder to photograph my own children- I mean they know all my tricks, right?  ;)

Anyhow, on a whim one gorgeous evening, I called up Matt and told him to meet me at a sweet little spot I just love because Arlowe HAS to have some one year pictures. ;)  Being the great husband he is, no questions are asked, other than, "You got something for me to wear?"  Haha, of course!

So, off I go, shoving a HUGE vintage wagon into my little Honda, along with three, yes, read it right, THREE bags of clothes!  I aim to travel light, but it just NEVER works out that way!

Kolton 1 Year Cake Smash Baby's First Year | Baby Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

I cannot believe I have been hanging out with this little guy every month for the past year!  I have really become attached to him and to the great conversation with Sarah- his mom- that was sure to happen every month!

This is his last session from his Baby's First Year package.  Sarah and Zach wanted to incorporate some family pictures with Kolton as well as the coveted Cake Smash at the end of the session!  :)

Kolton didn't waste any time tearing into his cake.  I think this might have been the fastest smashing I have ever photographed!!

Farrah's 1st Birthday Party | Birthday Party Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

First, I just have to say that Farrah's mother is an amazing baker and decorator!  This 1st birthday party was just too adorable in every way possible!!

Farrah- the star of the show, was so cute in her little pink and purple coordinating outfits!

The decorations, like I said, were so creative and wonderful!

The cake was fantastic (I just love the fact she sent two HUGE pieces home with me!); my husband was raving (not to mention he ate it all!) about how good they were!

Oh yeah, did I mention she had the idea to have a photobooth with me?!

Oh, yeah, it was THAT kinda cool party!

The decorations and delicious ombre cake!

 One cake was strawberry and another (looked like this one and said Happy 1st Birthday) was chocolate.  I found out, later, that Farrah's mom worked at a bakery while she was in college!  I am lobbying that she put that knowledge and talent to good use!!  :)

Party Booth!

Here are a couple shots, from the party booth, of this sweet family!  They didn't let a little rain (okay, okay, a monsoon) get them down!  They had a fabulous time celebrating Farrah's 1st birthday and I am so blessed they allowed me to capture it for them!  :)

All of the guests loved the party booth and they had a great time dressing up in party hats with kazoos and writing all kinds of fun things on the chalk board!

Brady Turns One! | Baby Photographer Camp Hill, Pa

Brady is turning the big O-N-E!  I cannot believe all of the talents he has acquired, just in time to show them off at his first birthday party!  Teeth, walking, dancing, independence- he is just so adorable!!

We met up at a super fun local park and Brady was just a handsome little guy for me, and as his treat- he got to smash a cake until his heart was content!  :)  Enjoy.

 Brady should be the next spokesperson for "Swings are AWESOME!"  :)  Look how much fun he is having!!

 I just love this image!!!  Everyone needs to love life and dance like Brady!!!
