This beautiful little girl was a dream. She slept almost the entire time and just woke long enough to have a good feeding.
I also loved hearing her name story! Her mother read a book, as a young girl and the heroine made a profound impact on her, thus securing this little girl's name on her "must name my baby this" list!
I cannot wait to see how much this little girl grows over the next year- welcome to the BVP family, baby girl!

First, I am such a sucker for awesome little boy names! This little guy's name did NOT disappoint- Roman. What a strong name for a strong little dude.

You know, every time I schedule a newborn session, I am just giddy with excitement. I can't wait to meet two new parents (or see previous clients again if they are having another baby!) and hear about their love story, life and ultimately their birth story!
I don't just do posted newborn shots, I also shoot to tell a story- your family's birth story. Whether it be welcoming a new gift from God, or this is your second, third, fourth or MORE, everyone's story deserves to be told.

My first little sweet newborn of 2014!
I couldn't have asked for a snugglier, more awesome a little girl than Miss E. She rocked her session out at 10 days new!
She is absolutely adorable and I just love the fact her mom and dad didn't find out if she was a girl or boy until she was born! I wish more of my clients would do this! How FUUUUNNN!
During the down time in December and January, I took a few learning classes to strengthen my newborn posing skills and editing. What do you guys think?

This little guys's nursery is just fabulous! I love shooting lifestyle shots in baby nurseries. It is just so ethereal and perfect!

I am so excited to finally be able to share these with you all! This blog post has been a.long.time. in the making. Try since last year! Yes, I am not kidding. It has literally been that long.
I went through several different USB companies, but I really didn't feel like the drives were me, you know? They were mass manufactured and only orderable in bulk orders. Nothing wrong with that, but you all know me. I want custom, unique, individual to each of my dear clients. That is, after all, why I am a boutique photographer! :) I was just about to give up my search, when I got an email from my professional print lab- Miller's. They are just fabulous! The answer to all of my prayers. A completely customizable USB drive and box that screamed: "ME!" SWOON!
The boxes are natural and crafted with the utmost attention to detail! I love, love, love them! The wood is so crisp and clean- it is perfect to guard all of your precious memories!
