Push the Boundaries | Harrisburg, Pa Maternity Photographer

I just love this shot.  Words don't necessarily do this photo justice.  This picture fulfills the age-old adage that, "a picture is worth a thousand words."  Tara is so incredibly beautiful as a pregnant woman and she was so willing to experiment and push the boundaries; next thing you know, we end up with this impressive shot.

If you are thinking about having maternity shots done before your little baby arrives, do them.  They are so specific to an incredibly special time in your lives.  Also, don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone- you might end up with a picture that is so special and unique to you that you will cherish it for a lifetime- but, only if you take the plunge! :)  Enjoy.

Tara's Baby Belly pt. 2 | Maternity Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

You have already read about Tara and Jeremy's outdoor maternity shots (if you haven't, go read it HERE!!), so now I am going to tell you about her studio time!

I love being able to go on location with my clients!  This is mainly true, because so many people feel so much more comfortable in a familiar environment (and not forced) where they can truly be themselves.  We set up our studio in Tara and Jeremy's home, where Tara definitely felt most at ease.  She wanted some striking belly shots that truly spoke to how beautiful she is as a pregnant momma!  I think we hit the nail on the head with this shots of Tara and her baby belly.  She was really willing to push the envelope and try new ideas as we played around with some comfortable shots (as well as those less than comfortable shots!).  Jeremy was a great background coach, throwing in his ideas and things he wanted to try out [what a GREAT husband and dad! :) ] as well as being right there to help Tara out with anything she needed (she IS 34+ weeks pregnant!).

Tara's Baby Belly! | Maternity Photographer Harrisburg, PA

As I said in my previews (HERE & HERE), I have known Tara since I moved to Pennsylvania.  Back in August, she married her sweetheart- the perfect catch for her, might I add!- (check it out HERE).  I was also blessed to catch some really awesome engagement/newly weds shots in the fall with this awesome couple (check those out HERE)!  Well, not more than a couple months later they happily found out they were pregnant!!  Awesome!

Recently I met up with Tara and Jeremy to catch some maternity shots.  Tara's session included couple's maternity pictures as well as studio time.  She was such a trooper, willing to scale rocks, sit and lay in uncomfortable positions, all for these great shots of her baby belly!  Here are the highlights from the outdoor portion of her maternity session with Jeremy!

New Lenses and a big THANKS!

Let me tell you something.  I am like a kid in a candy store when it comes to awesome lenses.  I can't get enough of them and I struggle wholeheartedly(who am I kidding, halfheartedly) while I wait on the orders to arrive!

In the past week, I welcomed two of my newest friends to my photography family- via my favorite UPS man!  a telephoto zoom and my ultra-wide angle!  This ultra-wide angle (Canon 10-22mm) happens to be my all-time favorite.  You can do SO much with it!

What is even more exciting is that I have an engagement session this Saturday, so I get to use it, right away! 

I will be sure to post some fun new shots with these lovely darlings just as soon as I can! 

In the mean time, my most sincerest of "Thank You"s go out to all of Bella Vita's friends, fans, and supporters!  In the past few months, Bella Vita has really grown our client base and our fan on Facebook (we reached 200!!!).   Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to share Bella Vita with your friends and sent new clients our way!  It means the world to me that you love our work and care enough to share my business with others!  My clients are the BEST!!  :)
