So, I am feeling quite nostalgic today. (don't we all, at some point?)
My son- known fondly for the duration of my maternity as "D2" {don't worry, children of the 90s, you don't have to jump up and get into the Flying V!}, now known as Arlowe Lake, will be turning 4 months old tomorrow.
O.O <---- my face when I realized this, just this morning.
*sigh*
He had a bit of a rough night, as did his sweet big sister- yikes, double whammy.
So, this morning, as I sat in the infinitely comfortable rocker with the little 15 pounder that has completely stolen my heart, my mind was racing through all of those reels of late-night feedings, snuggles, sleepy sighs, precious little lips, eye lashes.... I think I could *literally* go on forever about baby features.
What's the point, right?
Well. None, really, other than I was thinking how quickly babies grow (way too quickly, right?) and how this session that is next on the blog agenda is about 3 months shy of a year old already! I can't believe that this time last year we were meeting with the nurses and doctors at Women's Health, full of excitement and anticipation, for adding a new addition to our family. What a quick, quick journey my pregnancy became for our family!
Ahh, now *here* is the tie-in to the session I am about to share with you!
Thanks for spending a moment, walking down my nostalgic memory lane with me this morning. :)
I knew I wanted to do a beach maternity session for myself and what better time than when our family (my father-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband, 3 nieces and nephews, along with my sweet family of 3 at the time) vacationed in Wildwood Crest, NJ?
So, off my sweet little family goes to find the *perfect* spot for this maternity session.
Now, let's get down to the questions you probably have.
Do you travel? Yes I travel. :)
PUHLEEEZE take me along on your fun family vacations, so I can document all of your memories and adventures, all worry-free! :)
Are you really going to show who is behind the camera? Yes, you will get a little peek at the chic behind the camera. :)
Yes, again, as I said on Facebook, quite some time ago, it is *really* hard to pick out pictures of yourself to share with the world, but when it comes to gorgeous and beautiful clients, they make it *so* easy!
Enjoy.
I couldn't post about my maternity session, without posting a picture of my gorgeous baby girl. :) Gosh, I love this kid's smile. <3
