I have had several themes swirling in my mind, once I learned we were having a little boy, and that he was coming in December- nautical, Christmas, and little boy "critters".

 Nautical theme coming right up!  Arlowe's room has a mature, Nautica nautical theme and I found this background at a special little local place I buy backgrounds.  I knew this would be perfect to match his room decor and I was right!! :)

Bennett Family | Family Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

This sweet family won a {family} session from me at the end of 2011 and they cashed it in during our busy fall family session season!

I asked my fans on Facebook to vote for the best image of 2011, the family that had the most votes would win a {family} session in 2012.  Well, the Bennett family's picture kicked bootay!

Fast forward to October 2012: Corinne and I picked the *perfect* weekend.  A Friday night, so all you nay-sayers about Friday night sessions- listen up:  they. work. perfect. <3

The leaves were gorgeous, the sunset lighting was so caramelly, creamy, and just sugary sweet.  Did I mention it. was. perfect.?  Well, it was. :)

Dorris Family | Family Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

This family was a great group of troopers!  I met them through another client {hooray for client referrals!} and they wanted some fun family shots with the fall leaves.  By the time we compared schedules, it put us into November, when most of the leaves had fallen (and they were *gorgeous*!) but the temperatures were a bit chilly!!

Even through the chilly weather, this family had SO much fun!  They played and laid in leaves, ran in circles and cuddled together to stay warm!  :)  What great things for me to photograph, no?

Harrisburg Cupcake Cup 2012 | Event Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

Oh my goodness!  This is the second year I have photographed this important event and I have to say each year it gets better and better!  The Harrisburg Cupcake Cup benefits the Central Penn Food Bank, many central Pennsylvanians are in need of food and during the holiday season, especially.

When I was editing this session, I am convinced I gained 10 pounds just LOOKING at all of these yummy cupcakes!   I brought home a large box of goodies from the contestants and as I looked at each image, I literally found my mouth watering and I was reliving each bit of the cupcakes!!  They were SO good!

This year I focused on photographing each individual cupcake entered into the contest and the winners, so I only picked out a few pictures from the event to share with you, I had SUCH a hard time selecting which delectable goodie to share!

Caleb: 5 Days New | Newborn Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

Oh my stars!  This little guy was so sweet!!!

I met his mom and dad back in September for their super cool urban maternity session (check out the link below!) in downtown Harrisburg and I was dying to meet this little guy!

 I just love how, in the next two pictures, Caleb's personality is already coming out- at 5 days new!!!  :)  He was so much fun and we had so many laughs during his session!

 Every newborn session I shoot includes "feature shots", close-ups of each little detail of baby's first few days of life.  Newborns change so quickly, you would never imagine how quickly each of these features change as a baby grows!

These are perfect for wall collages and prints!

 Little baby toes are possibly one of my all-time favorite shots to do! :)

This family has been with me from the beginning, I looooove sharing that in every post! :)  And Amy and I have become great friends, complete with children VERY close in age (a girl, then a sweet little boy!).  I love spending time with them each session we have together!  Brynnleigh is always on her BEST behavior and so attentive- you would NEVER know she is just 2 years old!  :)  She definitely makes my job SUPER easy! ;)

Crum Family Christmas | Family Photographer Harrisburg, Pa

I am so glad I was able to meet up with this sweet family for some Christmas pictures, as well as sneak in a snuggle with little miss O!!

Of course, like all of my newborns that I get to see again, she had grown so much since the last time I saw her a couple months earlier!

These sessions are a great way to get some shots of your family for Christmas cards as well as update your family pictures {again}.  Little babies grow so fast, you really cannot have too many sessions, especially during a baby's first year.  :)  I am glad that I get to see little Miss O again in a few weeks, as part of a baby's first year!
